Dell Introduces XPS 13 2-In-1 Laptop

After first making its acclaimed debut in 2015, Dell offers an update to its XPS 13 laptop with the intro of a 2-in-1 convertible version. Essentially a combination of the XPS 13 Touch with a foldable hinge, the latest addition to the XPS line bridges the between laptop and tablet. It retains the beautiful “InfinityEdge” display (no 4K though), while Dell touts it the smallest 13-inch 2-in-1 model in the world, with the entire package being squeezed into a standard “11-inch”, ultra-lightweight design. Reports say it weighs in at 2.7 pounds and is 13.3mm tall, making it slimmer than HP’s new Spectre. As for the display, it comes in 1080p and QuadHD+ (3200 by 1800 pixels) variants, and includes a 7th generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, while fitting up to 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. Furthermore, the convertible features 2 USB 3.0 ports, one of which is Thunderbolt 3.0 compatible. The new Dell XPS 2-in-1 releases Jan. 5, starting at $1,000 USD.
