Eluru: TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh lambasted YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, by claiming he is obstructing the development of the State on various issues. The TDP leader toured Tanuku, Attili and Eluru on Wednesday. In Eluru, Lokesh participated in the Yuva Chaitanya Yatra with students.Addressing the students at Sir CR Reddy Degree College, he said Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy was posing hurdles to development of the new State of Andhra Pradesh. He pointed out that Jagan was opposing the construction of Bhogapuram Airport, Divis Factory in East Godavari district, Tundurru and Pattiseema projects in West Godavari district, capital city Amaravati and other development works. The TDP National leader alleged that Jagan indulged in corruption during his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s regime to the tune of lakhs of crores of rupees. Following this, about 12 officials have gone to judicial remand, he said. Jaganmohan Reddy was sentenced to 14 months imprisonment, the TDP leader reminded. MLAs Badeti Kota Ramarao, Chintamaneni Prabhakar, KS Jawahar,Ministers Peethala Sujatha, Ayanna Patrudu, EluruMP Maganti Venkateswara Rao (Babu) TDP District President Thota Sitaramalakshmi, City Mayor SheikhNoorjahan, ZP Chairman Mullapudi Bapiraju and others participated in the programme.Later the TDP national leader Lokesh interacted with the students in the college.
